Linus (linusprep.com) is a Duolingo-style test prep platform that makes studying for the SAT fun and engaging. Instead of dry textbooks, the app uses a vibrant world of animal characters, daily streaks, and interactive quests to motivate high school students.
Working alongside an illustrator (the fabulous Miss Chatz) and a small team of animators, I worked to help build a library of animated characters. My main focus was rigging and animating a wide range of characters using Rive.
I took the original character designs and set them up for motion, creating everything from simple idle movements to specific interactions. We all worked together to make sure the animations felt consistent and matched the style of the illustrations.
